In line with its innovative sustainability strategy, Gargour Mobility has signed a partnership agreement with technology company Wallbox to become the sole official distributor in Lebanon. This collaboration, the first of its kind, should be a decisive turning point for the electric vehicle industry in Lebanon and pave the way for the sustainable development of the country.
The Gargour Mobility-Wallbox partnership is a response to the growing demand for electric vehicles in Lebanon. By seizing this opportunity and working to create a more sustainable environment through less energy consumption, Gargour Mobility aims to provide the means to accelerate this transition and make electric vehicle charging more affordable.
Wallbox is a global leader in electric vehicle charging and energy management; the company has set itself the task of changing the way the world uses energy. Wallbox creates electric vehicle charging and energy management systems that redefine the user’s relationship with the network. The company goes beyond charging electric vehicles to empower users to control their consumption, saving money and energy. Wallbox offers a complete portfolio of charging and energy management solutions for residential, semi-public and public use in over 100 countries.
On this occasion, Cesar Aoun, CEO of Gargour Mobility, said that the automotive sector is undergoing a period of dynamic evolution driven by factors of technological and social change. “Our company is adapting to new market dynamics by creating new online services and is now ready to introduce new solutions for all electric vehicles through products in different segments. Therefore, it is important to have a diversified portfolio in order to move forward and succeed. The goal of our partnership with Wallbox is to offer a charging solution, not a product. All Wallbox products can be controlled via a mobile application to offer customers the best service,” Cesar Aoun assured.
“As a pioneering company providing electric vehicle charging solutions, we are very proud to be part of this initiative, which will surely accelerate the transition to greener charging and energy management solutions in Lebanon. This is a way to promote more sustainable mobility so we can conserve our environment,” concluded Osama Alhamad, Head of the Middle East and Africa at Wallbox.
