EDP ​​Brasil posted a net profit of R$514.4 million in the third quarter of this year, up 0.8% year-over-year. Taking into account the first nine months of the year, the company’s profit amounted to 1.418 billion reais, which is 5.0% higher than in the same period in 2021.

Net revenue for the quarter was R$4.086 billion, down 21.1% year-on-year. In the period from January to September, the company’s revenue amounted to 11.410 billion reais, which is 5.0% less than in the same period of the previous year.

From July to September, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) rose by 16.9% to 1.313 billion reais, while adjusted EBITDA reached 1.017 billion reais, up 35.0% year-on-year.

From 2022 to September, EDP Ebitda was R$3.705 billion, an increase of 24.7%, while Adjusted Ebitda was R$3.023 billion, an increase of 38.8%.
EDP’s net debt at the end of the third quarter was R$ 10.607 billion, up 34.6% from September 2021.
