Several injured after a stabbing involving multiple students at a high school in Los Angeles, USA

A stabbing with multiple students involved leaves several injured at the Van Nuys High School in Los Angeles, in the United States. Students have been confined to their classrooms, although there is currently no threat on campus, according to a statement released by Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho.

In statements to the press, Carvalho indicated that two students have been stabbed with an unidentified weapon and have been taken to hospital with no life-threatening injuries. Two other students, he has indicated, have been beaten and one of them has also been evacuated to a hospital, with injuries that do not threaten his life, while the second was treated at the same scene.

Three individuals are being questioned for these events, although at the moment no student has been arrested, according to the superintendent, who has nevertheless pointed out that the investigation is still underway. According to him, there is no imminent threat to the educational center, which remains closed so that investigators can carry out their work.
