NFollowing the discovery of a dead woman in Hockenheim (Rhein-Neckar region) last week, two suspects were arrested. Police said Friday that the 43- and 44-year-old men were carrying the woman’s five-week-old baby with them. They were taken into custody on Thursday. She is suspected of murdering a 27-year-old woman – according to preliminary information, a Ukrainian refugee.
The five-week-old girl was taken to hospital as a precaution. DNA comparison showed that she was the daughter of the murdered man. The baby is now in the care of juvenile services. The created special commission “Rampe” continues the search for the 51-year-old mother of the deceased.
A passerby discovered the woman’s body last Thursday near the banks of the Rhine at the so-called NATO ramp. She was placed with her daughter and mother in a refugee shelter in the Rhine-Neckar region.
