The social network for short texts has made another dubious decision. This time, the ability for all third-party applications to connect to the platform via APIs (programming interfaces that allow you to create platforms in an easier and more practical way for developers) has been removed.

The decision was strange for everyone because of Twitter’s history with these platforms: basically they make the network what it is today. Without these third-party apps, more users could opt out and further thwart new owner Elon Musk’s attempts to make the company profitable through his own bad decisions.
